Dr. Anna Schwabe is a leading authority in cannabis genetics and biology, with a career that bridges both academic research and industry innovation. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Northern Colorado, where her groundbreaking dissertation, “A Multifaceted Approach to Address Variation in Cannabis sativa,” explored the complex genetic diversity within the cannabis plant.
Dr. Schwabe has served in several academic roles, including Adjunct Faculty at the University of Northern Colorado and Associate Lecturer at the University of Colorado, where she co-taught the pioneering course “Modern Cannabis Science.” Through her teaching, she has helped shape the next generation of cannabis researchers and professionals.
